That is why we wrote this Policy to explain the privacy practices of Stariver Technology Co.Limited, a company incorporated in China , (hereinafter referred to as “loongbox”). This Privacy Policy covers how we protect your personal data including how we collect, process, store, and use your data, in order to protect your rights and for you to feel peace of mind when using our services. If you do not agree with part or whole of the Privacy Policy, please stop using our services immediately.
1. Scope
Before using the services offered by loongbox's software,please familiarize yourself with our Privacy Policy, and agree to all the articles listed. If you do not agree to part or all of the articles, please do not use the services offered by our Platforms.
The Privacy Policy only applies to the collection, processing, storage, and use of your personal data by loongbox's Platforms. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of third-party companies, websites, people, or services, even when you access these from a link on our Platforms.
2. What personal information will we collect from you
Due to Loongbox adopt decentralized system, in the process of your use of Loongbox service, you do not need to provide any real identity information (real name, id number, handheld id photo, phone number, driving license, etc.) , you can log in directly with private key ,the private key will be your unique identity authentication.
3.Provision of Loongbox services
While you use services, we will collect the following information:
3.1 Device information： We will receive and record the device attribute information (such as device model, operating system version, device settings, international mobile equipment ID (IMEI), MAC address, unique device identifier, advertising identifier IDFA and other software and hardware feature information) and information related to device location (such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other sensor information) with respect to the device used by you according the specific permissions granted to you in the installation and use of software . We might correlate the aforesaid two types of information in order for us to provide you with consistent services on different devices.
3.2 Log information： When you use services provided by our website or client, we will automatically collect details about your use of our services to be saved as related web log, for example, file size/type, MAC address/IP address, language use, shared links, opening/download of shared links by others, and log records of application/function collapse and other behaviors, etc.
3.3 Support information about user account：Based on the user consultation records and fault records arising from your use of Loongbox services and troubleshooting process in response to users’ faults (such as communication or call records), Loongbox will record and analyze such information in order to more timely respond to your help requests and use them to improve services.
Please note that separate device information, log information and support information are information that cannot identify a particular natural person. If we combine such non-personal information with other information to identify a particular natural person or use it in combination with personal information, during the combined use, such non-personal information will be deemed personal information and we will anonymize and de-identify such information unless as otherwise authorized by you or otherwise specified by laws and regulations.
3.4 When providing service functions or specific services to you, we will collect, use, store, externally provide and protect your information according to this privacy policy and corresponding user agreement; where we collect your information beyond this privacy policy and corresponding user agreement, we will explain to you the scope and purpose of information collection separately and obtain your prior consent before collecting personal information required to provide corresponding services.
3.5 Other additional services that we provide you with
In order to provide you with services you choose to use or guarantee the quality and experience of service, you might be required to authorize enabling permissions of operating system. If you disagree to authorize App to acquire permissions of related operating system, it will not affect your use of basic service functions provided by us (except for necessary operating system permissions upon which basic service functions rely), but you might be unable to acquire user experience brought by additional services to you. You may view the status of permissions item by item in your device settings and may determine the enabling or disabling of these permissions at your sole discretion at any time.
Access to storage：When you use native file view preview and choosing native file for uploading and other functions of Loongbox, in order to provide such service to you, we will access your storage with your prior express consent. Such information is sensitive information and refusal to provide such information will only render you unable to use the aforesaid functions, but will not affect your normal use of other functions of Loongbox. In addition, you may also disable related permissions in the mobile phone settings at any time.
Access to album：When you upload or back up files or data in your mobile phone album using Loongbox, in order to provide you with such service, we will access your album permissions with your prior express consent. You may also disable related permissions in the mobile phone settings at any time.
Access to camera：When you directly take photos or videos and upload them using Loongbox, in order to provide you with such service, we will access your camera permissions with your prior express consent. You may also disable related permissions in the mobile phone settings at any time.
Access to microphone： When you directly take videos and upload them using Loongbox, in order to provide you with such service, we will access your microphone permissions with your prior express consent. You may also disable related permissions in the mobile phone settings at any time.
Please note that the aforesaid permissions are in the disabled state by default, and your refusal to provide authorization will render you unable to use the corresponding functions, but will not affect your normal use of other functions of Loongbox. By enabling any permission, you authorize us to collect and use related personal information to provide you with corresponding services, and by disabling any permission, you have withdrawn your authorization and we will no longer collect or use related personal information based on the corresponding permission, nor can we provide you with any services corresponding to such permission. However, your decision to disable permissions will not affect information collection and use previously conducted base on your authorization.
4.Please understand that we can collect and use your personal information without your authorization or consent according to laws and regulations and applicable national standards in the following circumstances:
4.1 Directly related to national security, national defense security, public security, public health or significant public interests;
4.2 For the purposes of safeguarding the life, properties and other significant lawful rights and interests of the subject of personal information or other individuals;
4.3 Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgments, etc.;
4.4 Where you publicize your personal information to the general public or your personal information is collected from information publicly disclosed lawfully, such as lawful news reports and government information disclosure and other channels;
4.5 As required to maintain the safe and stable operation of Loongbox-related services, such as identifying and dealing with faults of CowTransfer-related services;
4.6 As necessary for academic research institutions to conduct statistical or academic research based on public interests, provided that personal information contained in the results of academic research or description has been de-identified when providing such results externally;
4.7 Other circumstances specified by laws and regulations.
5、Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal content
When all or part of Loongbox or our Platforms are separated, operating as a subsidiary company, or merged into or purchased by a third party, and thus leading to a transfer of management rights, we will make an announcement in advance on our software. It is possible that in the process of transferring management rights, part or all of our users' Personal content would also be transferred to a third party. Only personal data pertinent to the management rights transfer will be shared. When only part of Loongbox or our Platforms are transferred to a third party, you will remain our member. If you do not want us to continue using your Personal content, you can make a request in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
6、Blockchain and distributed storage technology
Loongbox uses blockchain technology and distributed storage network system, so when using the software service,(a) you will use the software in the default anonymous way, we will not supervise your use; (b) Based on IPFS distributed storage system, loongbox in the early use may appear delay,lag and other phenomena, but with the increase of the number of users, these problems will gradually disappear. Please understand if you do not feel good in the early use.
7. Confidentiality and Security
We undertake not to store any of your personal information, To protect your account and private key, please do not reveal your private key to a third party, nor allow a third party to apply for an account using your personal information. If you choose to reveal your personal information to third parties, you will be personally responsible for any subsequent adverse actions. If your private key is leaked or lost, we will not be able to retrieve your account or restore your data.
The Internet is not a secure environment for transmitting information. Therefore, when you use our Platforms, please do not give sensitive information to third parties or post such information on our Platforms.
8. Protection of Minors
Our Platforms are not designed for minors. Users under 18 should acquire permission from a parent or legal guardian before using our services, or use our services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Furthermore, the parent or legal guardian must agree to our collecting or using of any personal data provided. Due to the decentralized network system, Loongbox cannot suspend their minor's account, or to stop the collection, processing, and use of their minor's personal data, at any time.
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
You will be notified of any amendments to the Privacy Policy via email or website message. We will also post an announcement on our software. By continuing to use of our Platforms following any amendments, you would be deemed to have agreed to the amendments. If you do not agree, please notify us, in accordance with the Privacy Policy, to stop collecting, processing, and using your personal data.
You may amend your personal details at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to send you messages regarding Loongbox's news and services, and management announcements. These messages are regarded as a part of your membership agreement, and cannot be opted out of.
